Frequently Asked Questions
Who is AI High School Academy for?
Students in grades 9–12 who want to build real AI skills, plus educators who want to bring AI into their classrooms.
Does my teen need to know anything about AI before joining?
Nope. We have beginner, intermediate, and advanced options—curiosity is all they need to start.
How are the sessions taught?
Live and interactive. No boring pre-recorded lectures. Students can ask questions, get feedback, and collaborate in real time.
What kinds of tools will my student learn to use?
Depending on their track: ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Midjourney, Runway, ElevenLabs, Replit, WolframAlpha, and more.
What types of projects will they complete?
They’ll build things like AI-generated videos, research tools, automations, bots, visual art, and writing portfolios.
What is the difference between group classes, camps, and 1-on-1 mentoring?
-
Group Classes: Live virtual group sessions by topic or track
-
Camps: In-person, weekend-long intensives
-
1-on-1 Mentoring: Personalized virtual coaching based on student goals
-
Are the group classes and camps open year-round?
Group Classes run year-round. Camps are limited and currently offered in Miami and LA.
What does my student receive after completing a program?
They’ll earn a digital diploma and walk away with a portfolio of projects they can show on college apps, job resumes, or personal websites.
How long are the group classes?
Each group classes varies in length (typically 1.5–2.5 hours), and some are offered as multi-day experiences.
Is this only for students who want to go into tech?
Not at all. We teach AI by discipline—so whether your student loves art, writing, science, or coding, they’ll learn to use tools that fit their passions.
How much does it cost?
Final pricing will be announced to waitlist members first. It will be comparable to other live, online learning programs.
Is there a sibling discount?
Yes—families will receive 20% off for each additional student.
How do I know which track is right for my student?
We’ll help you choose based on interests. Most students start in one track and explore others over time.
